Another good point to chew on is the fact that most if not all the Olympians come from privileged upper middle, high class families that could afford to train their kids for such rare sports that cost tones of money and training to even consider the sport/game. Not to mention the fact that to participate in 90% of the winter Olympics sports you have to have some sort of connection as a kid to begin with and also most of these sports are so rare you would have to move your kid to the training facilities in urban areas or exotic locations and pay massive amounts to train in such rare sports.

The point being most people in the world have no access to training or the money to even dream of such. All you need in the summer Olympics is 2 feet and a heart beat or in the special Olympics no feet at all.

It’s a fact that low class ghetto ass kids grow up to be the best athletes if given the same opportunities, when it come to winter Olympics sports you need crazy money and connections to even consider it, so in the end are these really the best athletes ? not at all because the competition is limited substantially.
